Group Therapy
Group therapy is when a group of persons (typically 6 to 12) gather to learn from and support each other with the therapist facilitating the discussion and interactions. I currently offer the following groups:
Open Support Group - This group is "open" in that people facing a wide variety of challenges (e.g., depression, divorce, anxiety, etc.) may participate. A new group is currently forming. If you are interested in participating I recommend that you contact me soon as there is a limit to the number of participants.
Social Skills Training - This group is currently closed. If you are interested in future groups, please contact me to have your name placed on the waiting list for the next available group.
In my practice, group psychotherapy typically lasts 90 minutes and the fee is $30 per session. Groups meet consistently on selected days and times. All new members are interviewed to ensure compatibility with their needs and those of current group members.
