A Multicultural Perspective

   I am deeply committed to cultural awareness and sensitivity.  The psychologists who work with me share this commitment and mirror the diversity of Nyack and the larger Rockland County and Hudson Valley communities.  On staff, I have psychologists from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds including African-American, Asian, Caucasian, and Hispanic psychologists.  For a variety of reasons, people sometimes feel more comfortable with someone who shares their cultural experience.  If you are interested in working with a psychologist from a specific ethnic or cultural background, please contact me for additional information. 

   In my practice, an individual therapy appointment typically lasts 45 minutes and the fee is $150 per session.  Appointments are most often scheduled once per week and the number of sessions varies, based on the needs of the client.  Sliding scale is also available.
